We combine culture and travel

We cater to travelers looking for the special experience. To those who have a taste for magnificent nature, gastronomy, art, culture and tranquility.

What is different about our concept is that we build up our tours around Norwegian art and culture, to achieve a fine balance between exclusivity, authenticity, elegance, and tranquility – all against a backdrop of stunning natural scenery.

We have a number of fixed programs, and we also tailor trips to meet customers’ personal wishes and needs, drawing on our broad spectrum of activities and contacts. Programs can be arranged for varying numbers of participants, from small intimate groups to large tours. We can arrange tickets to cultural events, and it goes without saying that we only use the best guides: people who really know the area and experts.

Many of our programs take the form of a geographical trip, but if you would prefer to stay in one place, we can also arrange that. Some of our trips have a theme; for example, we offer one program based on the history of the Vikings, and another following in the footsteps of the renowned painter Edvard Munch and a number of other famous Norwegian artists.

We select all our overnight accommodations and restaurants very carefully to ensure a top-class experience. We also collaborate with partners who can complement your holiday with relaxation, meditation and well-being programs.

We showcase the very best Norway has to offer in terms of unspoilt nature, be it fjords, mountains, coastal scenery or lesser known inland areas, and make the most of the great contrasts between the seasons in Norway and the individual charm of each season. Norway is a long, thin country, and each region has its own quite special landscape, flora and forna, and culture. It lends the country a sensuality and soul that permeates everything. Tuning into the tones at the various different times of year provides nuance and character. The landscapes are constantly changing due to subtle changes in color and light. Plummeting gorges and thick fog do not need to be obstacles – they can also add magic and atmosphere to a place.

We will show you landscapes that will take your breath away and leave you with indelible memories.

My background in art and culture, in Norway and Paris, adds an important dimension to my work as a tour operator. Like so many other Norwegians who live abroad, after a number of years I started to yearn for home. It was a dream come true for me to come home and make my idea a reality. I wanted to communicate how nature affects us up here in Norway, how it inspires us, and how fundamentally important it is to protect and conserve it. Nature embodies something of the divine that gives human beings energy and raises our spirits. The moods in nature appeal directly to our senses; imagine the sound and taste of the water pouring down the mountainside, imagine a dark winter’s night high up in the mountains, where everything is bathed in a magic blue light and the sky is painted with the Northern Lights, the smell of the first anemones and baby birch leaves as spring finally arrives, the taste of fresh Lofoten cod as winter draws to a close, the endless romantic summer nights . . .
